The Greedy and The Foolish
America has passed beyond the point where commentary is useful. So expect little from this space in the future.
We'd say the Bad Guys have won, but that would suggest there are Good Guys, which, frankly, would be a stretch. Let's say instead that one group of Bad Guys have won out over a different group of Bad Guys.
It would be amusing, if the consequences were not so tragic, to ponder with schadenfreude that the vanquished Bad Guys not only don't realize they're Bad Guys - they don't realized they've been vanquished, or by whom, or what the consequences will be. But the consequences are real, and bad, and will get worse. America is heading for dark days, and nothing can stop it.
201k will focus its energies on protecting itself and its family, and suggests you do the same. Of course, depending on which group you belong to, you've either done that already, or don't recognize its necessity.
Thus the pointlessness of commentary.
